Problem: The Information Technology (IT) landscape has rapidly grown over the last decade, evolving from stand-alone systems, communications and processes to connected, integrated environments. Because of this rapid growth, many commercial companies and governmental agencies have lagged, failing to keep pace with always-changing requirements to be more net connected, efficient and secure.
Benefit: Because SPAs are cloud-based, they can be accessed anywhere by any team member via their laptops, tablets or smartphones providing them with real-time data, decreasing the risk for errors and re-work which often leads to increased costs. Digitizing information and placing in a centralized cloud situation will allow the best possible decisions to be made changing the way business and data to be collected and translated.
Solution/Approach: The overall objective of this project is to demonstrate the viability and benefit of transforming from a host of legacy systems/applications to modern commercial best practice/system for managing large complex sustainment operations to greatly improve maintenance, sustainment and production processes across a wide variety of organizations.
