The US Department of Defense is partnering with industry and academia on an initiative to demonstrate the benefits of scenario-based training through the development of a curriculum covering the functional level product support management and integration (PSM/I) tasks performed by a pre-selected logistics workforce. The overall goal for this project is to achieve a technology implementation level of Tier 1.

Specific goals include:

• curriculum development and classroom instructional training for a logistics workforce performing functional level tasks associated with program life-cycle management (PLCM) events and activities
• PLCM events for training to begin with “pre-milestone A” and include events through “disposal”
