The US Department of Defense is partnering with industry and academia on a multiphase CTMA initiative to assess how AI and ML can be leveraged to develop software solutions that provide situational awareness of operational demand and supply requirements. The software solution will combine data on training, force structure, manning, and logistics to synchronize operations in contested environments. Specifically, the solution will include prescriptive analytics capabilities that can provide optimal decision scenarios, resource allocation strategies, risk mitigation plans, and “what-if” analysis results.

Phase IV began the final transition of modernized solutions into a hardened cloud environment.  Phase V will continue that conversion while also working to modernize workflows, dashboards, and reports.
