The US Department of Defense is partnering with industry and academia on an initiative to assess and demonstrate a secure, cloud-enabled decision support platform that integrates data-driven process management, advanced analytics, and real-time modeling to enable predictive decision-making that enhances maintenance, sustainment, and modernization operations. The overall goal is to create a platform that will provide prescriptive analytics and decision tools to support optimal resource allocation, risk-informed planning, and “what-if” scenario development.

Specific goals include the ability to:

• identify when and where to pre-position assets
• analyze modernization impacts on readiness, facilities, and funding
• generate actionable recommendations that streamline logistics and strengthen operational agility
