The US Department of Defense is partnering with industry and academia on a multiphase CTMA initiative to demonstrate cost efficient and high-performing maintenance and sustainment plans to enable the operation of current aircraft arresting system (AAS) capabilities and/or ancillary hardware associated with airport operations.
Specific objectives include:
Phase IV will provide and demonstrate a commercial Airfield Power Analysis (APA) of USAF Mobile Aircraft Arresting System (MAAS) equipment and airfield facility power integration.
