The US Department of Defense is partnering with industry and academia on an initiative to demonstrate a Foreign Object Debris (FOD) detection and collection system in a production environment. The solution deployed will include multiple technical advancements; to include autonomous electric vehicles, novel command and control, new collection payload and detection radar integrated with command and control. The overall goal is to demonstrate and test this technology over several months with increasing levels of constraints and difficulty.

Phase II will build upon the successes in Phase I and focus on exploring rapid, flexible, and distributed austere Landing Zone (LZ) development to support modern operational concepts.

If you feel your organization has the technical capabilities and would like to be considered for this project, please complete the form below and upload your organization’s technical capabilities statement.
