Horizon Industries has partnered with M-Squared Innovations and Insights LLC to bring the BZ Performance Cleaning Cloths, engineered to outperform traditional cellulose-based wiping materials to the government customer. Designed to reduce lint, prevent surface damage, and improve solvent efficiency, these advanced textiles solve persistent challenges in industries where performance matters most. By minimizing residue and reducing waste, they also support broader sustainability goals.

BZ Performance Cloths:

• The BZ® line of Performance Cloths and offer superior cleaning solutions for projects large and small—including polycarbonate and polyacrylic surfaces.
• BZ® Performance Cleaning Cloths are a unique polyester blend exclusively made by M-Squared Innovations. The specialty blend of fibers is carefully constructed to ensure repeated wiping and cleaning of the most delicate surfaces without scratching, marring, or damage. In fact, it’s the only material called out to be safe for use on all aerospace transparency materials, such as acrylics and polycarbonates.

BZ Pre-Saturated Wipes:

• BZ® saturated wipes are currently manufactured with aerospace-approved solvents, and AMS3819-qualified base sheet materials.
• BZ® saturated wipes are pH-balanced, non-abrasive cleaning wipes specifically designed for use on aircraft surfaces. Formulated with a near-neutral pH , they are intended to clean contaminants such as dirt, oils, grease, and residues without introducing acidic or alkaline conditions that could contribute to corrosion of aircraft metals or coatings.
• BZ® MIL-Spec TT-I-735 Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA) is an effective cleaning solvent for removing both polar (typically water-based) and many nonpolar contaminants, including inks, light oils, greases, and fingerprints. It evaporates quickly with minimal residue, making it well suited for precision cleaning of hard surfaces. When used at the appropriate concentration, IPA is also an effective hard-surface sanitizer against a broad range of microorganisms.
• BZ® Mil Spec D-329 Acetone Wipes are individually packaged, high-purity acetone cleaning wipes designed for precision cleaning and surface preparation of aircraft structures, components, and equipment. Saturated with acetone meeting the ASTM D329 specification for 99.5% acetone, these wipes provide a controlled, consistent solvent application for aerospace maintenance operations.
