The US Department of War is partnering with industry and academia on a multiphase CTMA initiative to demonstrate additional key technological capabilities required for multi-system interoperability within commercial industry and military applications. This includes validating assumptions regarding the limits of JEDI-POST, connecting more information platforms for integration, and developing requirements for future capabilities. Additional objectives are to:

• Develop and demonstrate more interoperability channels between maintenance, sustainment, or logistics systems
• Demonstrate bi-directional data transfer between selected interoperable systems (to include one or more commercial off the shelf (COTS) systems)
• Plan for improved integration of commercial information systems to better integrate civil, commercial and military operations.

Phase II will focus on enabling JEDI POST to support decisions made within classified systems using data from unclassified networks or unclassified commercial servers.
