CTMA Project #: 141016
The project was divided into three workstreams to address edge corrosion of three different types of coating: liquid spray applied, electrodeposited coatings, and powder coatings. In each case, technologies were developed which mitigated corrosion at the edges of materials. Novel test methods were also developed to characterize relative performance of edge corrosion mitigating technologies.
