While focused on domestically-sourced development, testing, and manufacturability at reduced weight, size, and cost, PolyPlus executed a production-oriented program to advance sulfide-glass, solid-state lithium-metal batteries toward U.S. pilot manufacturing. Overall, the project established preliminary manufacturing specifications, demonstrated key processes, and validated the core technology, laying the groundwork for lighter, safer, and longer-lasting rechargeable batteries manufactured in the U.S.
