NCMS contributes to this effort with its Digital Enterprise, a secure, multi-cloud digital ecosystem aiding Army engineers in advancing their model-based systems engineering skills. NCMS’s Digital Enterprise has been used in multiple recent projects and has provided a scalable training environment as engineers learn and explore digital engineering tools.
- Transition to digital engineering became a priority due to its ability to reduce costs, shorten acquisition times, and improve system sustainment using high-fidelity virtual representations.
- NCMS’s Digital Enterprise are hosted on AWS GovCloud environments that are compliant with NIST 800-171 up to DoW IL5 level.
- The project team developed multiple pathways for the Army engineering workforce’s development, with the lessons including numerous technical areas across the DoW, the public sector, and the private sector.
