Full 360° Surround Inspection Data in Under a Minute with Results Projected Back on the Part. As an integrator of Polyrix PolyScan™ Surround 3D structured light technology, ATT Metrology has leveraged this solution for both part inspection and robot collision avoidance planning. The value of this system is in its ability to capture full surround inspection data and give immediate visual results projected back on the part. Individual parts can be brought in manually or via automation and have quality validation without the need for contact or handheld metrology measurements.

Polyrix has recently updated their software to yield even faster scans from their system. By utilizing their proprietary scanning software, parts can now be scanned in under 1 minute. Full setup times at ATT are typically 1 hour to calibrate the system, load a new CAD geometry and produce full quality data results for part validation. Calibration cycle requirements depend on overall environmental conditions.
