The US Department of War is partnering with industry and academia on a multiphase CTMA initiative to introduce advanced technologies into rotorcraft maintenance and sustainment. The overall objective is to establish specific technologies and processes needed to sustain repair, overhaul, and modify rotorcraft. New and innovative technology will be reviewed, tested, and validated with the goal to increase efficiency and equipment readiness.
Specific objectives include:
- Demonstrating and validating that the facility design, infrastructure, equipment, and engineering layouts for a specific facility are operationally viable
- Demonstrating how the modernization of the repair and overhaul capabilities will improve fleet readiness, reduce costs, and improve repair turnaround times
Phase II will build on the successes in Phase I; provide recommendations on changes to infrastructure, layouts, equipment and processes; and demonstrate and validate the recommended changes.
If you feel your organization has the technical capabilities and would like to be considered for this project, please complete the form below and upload your organization’s technical capabilities statement.
Interested Submissions Due by 6/18/26.
We encourage participation of Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs), including Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) and Women’s Business Enterprises (WBEs).
