The US Department of Defense is partnering with industry and academia on a multiphase CTMA initiative to assess and demonstrate 1) the impact of an agile software solution that supports decision making through data analytics using AI/ML techniques and 2) their effect on modernization, maintenance and sustainment, and readiness of current and future operations. This technology developed during the initial Phases is currently implemented as Tier 2 and various US Army organizations are using it. A goal of this project is to expand usage by the other Services to Tier 3 at the end of the initiative.
Specifically, this Phase VII initiative will use the US Army as a surrogate to:
- Demonstrate advanced analytics algorithms through implementation into Army information management tools.
- Enable real time analysis and interpretation of diverse data sources to derive actionable intelligence.
- Ensure interoperability and compatibility with existing systems and infrastructure.
- Demonstrate the effectiveness of modern AI/ML capabilities and their impact on organizational decision making.
