The US Department of Defense is partnering with industry and academia on an initiative to further develop software used in an operational logistics environment to demonstrate use of AI/ML that employs advanced mathematical algorithms in supply chain management to demonstrate an increase in parts availability and reduced customer wait time.

Specific objectives include:

• Integrate a comprehensive deployment management tool with emerging assessment and analysis tools
• Develop a maintenance assessment tool for a specific aircraft platform
• Develop a base support package for integration into multiple environments.
• Create the template, visualization and interfaces for a data driven AI enhanced personnel management tool
• Expand and adapt the initial deployment management tool for multiple platforms
• Provide interim subject matter expertise assistance to operationalize the tools
