The US Department of Defense is partnering with industry and academia on a multi-phase CTMA initiative to improve the efficiency of rotorcraft repair. The overall goal is to test and demonstrate new essential technologies and facility services that can perform their intended function at a specific dynamic component repair facility.
During Phase IV, the objective will be to have the bearing shop’s general area upgraded to comply with temperature and humidity requirements, ensuring the prevention of corrosion in the repair of rotorcraft compounds.
