The US Department of Defense is partnering with industry and academia on an initiative to demonstrate the impact of software integration into traditional data sets and non-traditional data sets to aid in the identification of highly probable alternatives Sources of Supply. The overall goal will be to aid in the delivery of higher quality parts, services and improved information fidelity.

Specific objectives include:

• Assess the data in the different environments
• Adjust the solution sets
• Deploy solution sets
• Show resolved outcomes
• Show repeated resolved outcomes
• Increase user awareness
• Establish documentation
• Improve outcomes
