The US Department of Defense is partnering with industry and academia on a multiphase CTMA initiative to rapidly advance integrated photonics technologies and the ecosystem required to viably manufacture them to a level of maturity that can be demonstrated and applied to address communication and operational issues in an RF-denied environment.
