The US Department of Defense is partnering with industry and academia on an initiative to expand the capacity of the Workshops for Warriors’ Welding Program to enable the training of more welding professionals.

The industry team selected will be expected to oversee:
• Equipment procurement and installation
• Facility technology integration
• Trainee recruitment and selection
• Hands-on training and certification delivery
• Job placement and workforce transition
