The US Navy seeks an industry partner that can advance the state of the art in modular, sustainable, and waterproof immersive simulation technologies to support high-risk search and rescue training operations conducted in maritime and degraded operational environments. This initiative seeks to design, develop, and demonstrate a ruggedized immersive training architecture capable of supporting realistic rescue scenarios involving helicopter hoist operations, flood response, maritime recovery, combat search and rescue, and severe weather operations. The effort will focus on scalable and maintainable training solutions that improve operational realism while reducing life cycle sustainment burden associated with legacy fixed and analog training systems.
